Doepker Industries Ltd., a leading manufacturer of highway trailers in western Canada, was incorporated in 1963. The family business was started as a repair shop in 1948, ventured into farm equipment manufacturing, and in 1972, produced its first grain trailer. In 1989 and 2001, the company was named Saskatchewan's Business of the Year by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.

Doepker Industries utilizes 75,300 square feet of production and office space in Annaheim, 24,400 square feet in Moose Jaw, 28,800 square feet of production space and 8,600 square feet of office space in Humboldt, and 23,000 square feet in Salmon Arm. This brings the total square footage in all four locations combined, to 160,100 square feet.

The plants are operating with up to 400 personnel, modern equipment, a state-of-the-industry paint department, 3-D solids modeling engineering and design software capability, robotics and CNC equipment technology. This has all been added to the operation to maximize production efficiency, accuracy, and capacity.
